Continuing in their un-American efforts at voter suppression, Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Republican-majority legislature have passed legislation requiring that all vote-by-mail requests expire after every general election cycle (at the end of every even-numbered year). Therefore, most vote-by-mail requests have expired at the end of 2022 and need to be renewed. This legislation also imposed restrictions on vote-by-mail drop box locations and on the people allowed to drop off ballots.

It is essential that every voter who usually votes by mail, or who requires a vote-by-mail ballot due to unexpected circumstances, contact your county Supervisor of Elections Office and file a new request that vote-by-mail ballots be sent to them for every election through the November general election of the even-numbered year. This request can usually be accomplished by phone or email.
